I first made this costume for a Rocky preshow back in 99. I called the skit 'Alice on Acid' set to NIN's 'The Perfect Drug'. It's a bit twisted. Alice gets fed some fun mushrooms by the white rabbit, gets pulled into a sick party where instead of tea thats being drank it's her blood! Heehee! I still have scars on my wrists from the ending where I smash the mirror. Even 'candyglass' can cut when it breaks!! This costume is so fluffy and fun to wear; you feel instantly cute. I even added rhinestones to the hem of the dress that sparkle with every move, spinning is a favorite thing to do in this outfit. This costume now resides in a well deserved retirement in my closet. I don't think I would ever wear it again as it is quite delicate from all the times I have worn it. Yet another costume I may remake someday. |
