Christian's Formal Costume

The Top Hat
I bought thistop hat on Ebay for $25; it was a horrid greenish color but the perfect size and shape for it's wearer.  I bought some small nap panne velvet and went to work.  Didnt come out too bad for the price I paid!

Still need to add the ribbon edging

My beaver top hat I bought on Ebay is in the back on the right; it turned out to be too small for my Christian

The  Vest

This is the best pic of the vest I could find!	The fabric I am planning on using; will be hand-painting in some black highlights to make it more accurate.
And above you can see my version of the finished vest and tailcoat! The black detailing I handpainted on got washed out in the pics but it looks great in person.  Unfortunately the wearer of the vest refused to return it to me and therefore these are the only pictures I have of it.

The Tailcoat

This was the easiest part of the costume; I knew a really cheap seler on Ebay so just bought the coat.  ;)  Still need to get a non-striped shirt and white bow tie.
