Costumes for Others
Yes, I do take commissions!  Hopefully I will have more pictures up soon!
(If you have pics of a commission I have made for you please email them to me;  I'd love to put them up here!)

Would you like a costume made? Pease READ MY FAQ's then email me and lets talk!

This was a costume set I made for a lady going to the 2006 Labyrinth of Jareth Ball.  She envisioned herself as an Ice Fairy and I turned her into one!  The outfit consists of three pieces; a skirt and top and a full overcoat.  The skirt and top are based in white satin with a layer of sheer snowflake glittered fabric.  The skirt has about*50* layers of shredded fabrics and beading everywhere.  The coat also has a snowflake printed outerfabirc (look close!) and is lined in white fur.

I was commissioned to make three Arwen based gowns for a lady's wedding last year.  She had a dove grey gown with a train for her and her bridesmaids were in burgundy.  I also hand beaded the trim of the Bride's gown armbands and belt.  The inner part of the bell sleeves was also lined with a sheer chiffon fabric which really added to the look.

The combinations of these colors were just gorgeous and the wedding was beautiful!!

I made a 'budget' version of Sarah's ballgown from Labyrinth last year for someone for Halloween; I love the crinkle fabric I found for this version!

This is a version of my Red Rose gown done in red and white to use as a wedding gown; the effect was lovely!

I've made several versions of Elizabeths Gold Gown over the past year as well; hopefully I'll have pics of people wearing these soon!

This was a Kitty Pride dress I was commissioned to make for DragonCon 2006.  It looked Fantastic on; I got to see my customer in it and get a few pics with her!

This was a commission from fast-becoming my favorite and most loyal customer; a Hellsing cosplay!  I did this pretty quickly (2 weeks) but I think it came out great.

This was another Halloween 2006 commission; this lady liked the Elizabeth gown but wanted it in different colors.  She pretty much left it up to me to chose the colors and this is what I came up with.

Julia asked me to make her a prom dress based on the Claudia gown I made but a little sleeker and here is what I cam up with.  I love how it came out and so did she and all her classmates!

I recently made an Arwen inspired wedding gown based on her Mourning dress in the Two Towers.  The bride was beyond thrilled with it; her fiance remarked that the gown was so suited to her that it seemed like she had just always worn it!  I was in love with the dress myself; I didn't want to send it off!  LOL!

I put together a Jack Sparrow costume for my Husband for Halloween 2004 (and made myself an Elizabeth gown to match!)  Click on the pic for more (scroll to the bottom of my Elizabeth page)!

I made a replica of the blue gown Claudia wears in 'Interview with a Vampire' for a good friend of mine to wear for Halloween 2004.  Click on the pic to be brought to the picture page!

I was contacted by a lady who works for the Swiss Miss Company (Yes, the Hot Chocolate people) to see if I could do a costume for them.  In 5 days.  There was going to be a spot on The Today Show on NBC where a girl dressed as The Swiss Miss would be handing out hot chocolate to everyone at their 'Winter Carnival'.

This was a quick commissions for a cloak based on the fellowship pattern but with a shorter hood.  it is made out of green velvet material; the green is so dark it looks black until it's in the proper light.  it's held together with a silver clasp at the neck.

This is a custom made and hand painted vest modeled after the one Christian wears in the movie 'Moulin Rouge' when he first meets the lovely Satine!  Click on the pic to see more photos as well as the making of the top hat!

Debbie asked me to make her a costume for her to wear as Mardi Gras Queen.  This is what I came up with!  Click the picture to be taken to the separate page with lots of pics!

Mark contacted me last minute to see if I could make him a Frank Sweet T corset and cape for him to wear to his company halloween party.  With the short amount of time we had it couldn't be screen accurate but had to look good.  He told me he was a huge hit at the party and plans to come back next year for another custom costume!

Look HERE for some pic of the costume in progress!

My first Hobbit costume!  This was for Julia in Hawaii; she wanted a Frodo costume to wear to Trilogy Tuesday.  So I made her a Fellowship cloak, a Hobbit shirt and trousers.  I worked within her budget and this is what we came up with!

Julia tells me she will be sending pictures as soon as she gets them developed.  She also told me she was interviewed by several television stations and made it on the news!

UPDATE!  Here's a screencap from the E! news broadcast covering the ROTK opening with Julia in it!  She's the hobbit on the right!  Click to see fullsize!

I was recently commissioned to do a 'Swiss Miss' costume with a slight fetish twist.  I discussed with the client what color combinations I thought would work, she gave me her measurements and this was the end result!  I was in love with this costume; it was very hard for me to send it off to its owner!

My good friend Brina is a amazing make-up artist that works in the horror field.  For DragonCon 2000 she asked me to make her a 'Carrie' dress which she could cover in 'blood'.  We had such a blast pouring the blood she made all over her on the hotel balcony which we had lined with plastic dropcloths.  Heehee, wish I could have seen the maids faces when they came to clean that!

Brina has been Carrie several times since and I have made a few changes to the costume; adding thicker straps (we didn't realize how heavy the blood was going to be) and adding a bit of a fishtail to the train in order to remove some of the fabric on the train that had a cigarette burn on it.  Other than that she say the dress has held up beautifully!

Krystal from CA emailed me interested in getting Sarah's Ballgown made and this was the end result!  With 'Krystal' as her name she was destined to wear this dress!  ;)  Doesn't she look wonderful?

Sam wanted to be the Green Fairy from Moulin Rouge for Halloween but was on a budget so I created this version of it for her!  The bodice is dotted with green rhinestones over the sequins and the beaded fringe at the hem of the corset was the coolest.  I even made panties for her to wear with this.  :)

The wings were made by my friend Bernadette at My Fairy Workshop.  Be sure to check her site out!

I actually started out making this gown for myself but ended up putting it up for sale on Ebay and finished it off to the measurements of the winning bidder's wife (it was a present).  Its made out of vinyl with metallic red accents, I really like the contrast between the two.  The dress looked so much better in person; the vinyl was so reflective it made the images look funny.  Yep, I see more of these on the horizon!

One of my many hobbies is bellydancing and one thing every bellydancer needs is a hipscarf!  I make these from scratch, even the tassles are handmade.

There are just two of the hipscarves I have done over the years.  The blue one out of tie-dyed velvet my client provided for me and the green one made out of sheer green fabric.  Both have yarn tassels; I have made tassels out of alot different materials though.

These are alot of fun to wear, everyone that I've made one for loves em!
