This dress was made for a springtime party so I wanted a flowy sort of feel to it. I had just discovered a new kind of fabric called 'Sheer Magic' and I used it for this dress. It is a shimmery green that has almost back undertones and changes colors in different lights. It being so sheer I lined the gown in a very lightweight crepe but it is still pretty see thru. Its a strapless dress; kinda hard to photograph the sleeves without it being on a person. The gown stays up as the bodice is very fitted and the sleeves hang off the sides of the shoulders and bell out from there. I added some green sequin accents to it; they look alot greener in the photos than they are in real life. Also the black tones of the fabric come out in the flash so it looks off. But in person it all blends together very nicely! |
