I first made this outfit to wear to the local goth club after finding a nice white wig that made me think of this picture. I made a priest robe and slit it up the sides of the sleeves as well as the skirt part to show some leg. Added white gloves and of course the rose and chain and I was done. Very comfortable to wear I decided to wear it again to a Gary Numan concert. He was playing at a local club promoting his new CD as well as his Dawn cd. Because I was dressed as Dawn I got to meet him and his wife Gemma! She saw me in the crowd and asked the promoters to bring me over. It was very cool. I do not have the wig anymore, after a few years it kinda fell apart. I would like to find another wig someday and wear this costume again. I obviously have worn it without the white wig but it really adds to the costume I think. I never did make the shoulder pieces, maybe I will tackle that someday as well. |
